Our internship program is a challenging, yet rewarding experience that will enrich your mind, body, and soul. We provide opportunities to learn and work with nature, grow your own food, make new friends and ultimately grow as an individual during your stay with us. It is a experience where you will learn skills that you can prosper from for life.
LFF is a developing farm, so the tasks include but are not limited to:
- invasive species removal
- native plant restoration
- dryland forest management
- garden tending
- animal care
- improvement projects
We accept interns on the basis of availability, experience, eagerness to contribute, and enthusiasm for our policies and vision.
Our internship programs gives you the oppritunity to grow and experience a once in a life time chance to work, live and play in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Interns are required to participate 30 hours per week in the following activites, not including weekly field trips:
Security Deposit of $100 will be collected prior to the start of the internship and refunded upon satisfactory completion of the intern period (minus property damage, if any).
Health Insurance Coverage is required by all interns.throughout the entire stay and are responsible for their own healthcare treatment and costs.
TUITION COST: $1500
Forests in drylands play a significant role in conserving biodiversity. Lahaina Family Farms has developed an on - going dryland restoration project.
One perk of life on the farm is the fluffy friends you will meet and get the opportunity to learn how to properly take care of them.
